Currently, the 767-400ER accommodates 238 passengers across four distinct classes. The layout features 34 Delta One lie-flat seats, followed by the existing Premium Select and Comfort+ offerings, with 156 seats remaining in the Main Cabin. By reallocating space, Delta aims to capture higher profit margins from the growing segment of travelers willing to pay a premium for extra legroom and enhanced services. These aircraft are fully owned by the airline, making them highly profitable assets that bridge the gap between narrowbody planes and larger widebody jets on routes to destinations like Zurich, Milan, Athens, and Honolulu.
